The singing lessons I had with Lavinia were absolutely instrumental in my development as a singer and a performer. She is a passionate and inspiring teacher, who truly cares about every single one of her students. Lavinia didn’t just provide me with a strong technical foundation for my continued career as a singer and performer; she also made me realise how important acting through song, and connecting with an audience, is. What sets her apart from other singing teachers is the fact that she focuses as much on the ‘performance' side as vocal technique. She tailors her lessons to the student and really understands how to get the best results from them.
I was 12/13 and painfully shy when I first started singing lessons with Lavinia, and these had a brilliant knock-on effect on my confidence and self-belief. I truly believe that if I hadn’t started these lessons my life could have been rather different! Lavinia has been a fantastic mentor and friend to me over the years and I am eternally grateful to her for the guidance and training she gave me- and continues to give!

Angelica was a huge part of my life for many years. It was such a wonderful experience and we felt like one big family. Lavinia makes everyone feel welcome, comfortable and confident, she is a big inspiration to us all. Lavinia also set Angelica up to raise money for the fantastic Starlight Charity which we are all very passionate about and taught us to cherish and appreciate every day. I had singing lessons with Lavinia from the ages of 13-19 years old. I started singing because I enjoyed it, but lessons with Lavinia turned that into a passion. She is an excellent teacher who helped my range grow massively over the years. Lavinia is patient but will push you to be your very best. She was a wonderful mentor for many years and I am so thankful for all the coaching and vocal techniques she taught me. Being part of Angelica Choir were some of the happiest memories of my teenage-hood, it was a fun, joyous and supportive environment to be in. Â I would absolutely recommend Lavinia to anyone beginner or expert as she can help you achieve your goals and you will have the best time doing it!
